Nigerian rapper, Zlatan Ibile, has waded into the ongoing rift between fellow rappers Blaqbonez and Odumodublvck, proposing a boxing match as a means to end their clash amicably.

Speaking during an interview with Yanga FM, the Zanku crooner said plans are already underway to stage the match in December, aligning it with the event that will also feature Portable and Speed Darlington.

Zlatan, who described both artistes as his friends, explained that his goal is to turn their ongoing tension into a controlled, entertaining showdown rather than a toxic rivalry.

“They are my guys. I sincerely hope they resolve their issues. I don’t want that energy between them. For my purposes, I don’t know, but in real life, I don’t like the beef at all. I’m certain they would definitely reconcile and collaborate in the future,” Zlatan said.

The feud between Blaqbonez and Odumodublvck began after Odumodublvck reportedly claimed that no Nigerian rap project could rival his work — a statement many fans perceived as a dig at Blaqbonez.

The tension escalated when Blaqbonez fired back with a diss track mocking Odumodublvck’s Anti-World concept, fuelling further controversy across social media.

Expressing his discomfort with the negative exchanges, Zlatan noted that while rivalry can sometimes spark public interest, he would rather see both artistes move forward peacefully.

He added that the proposed boxing match could serve as an avenue for reconciliation, eventually paving the way for collaboration between the two.

Zlatan’s peace initiative has stirred mixed reactions among fans, with many commending his effort to broker peace while others question whether a boxing match is the best solution.
