Renowned Nollywood actor Odunlade Adekola is in mourning following the passing of his father, Pastor N.A. Adekola, a respected senior clergyman of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC).
The actor, celebrated for his dynamic and often humorous roles in the Nigerian film industry, shared the news of his father’s death via his official Instagram account on Friday. In a heartfelt tribute, he posted an image bearing the words “Rest On Pastor N.A. Adekola, Planter CAC Itedo Alaafia D/H”, alongside a brief caption: “Rest on, my Daddy.”
Pastor Adekola was a distinguished church leader and the founding pastor of the CAC Itedo Alaafia District Headquarters, where he served faithfully for many years. His contributions to the growth and spiritual development of the church community earned him deep respect among congregants and colleagues alike.
Since the announcement, an outpouring of tributes and condolences has flooded social media, with fans, fellow actors, and public figures offering prayers and words of comfort to the Adekola family during this period of grief.
