The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, has acquired a fleet of buses to receive Hajj pilgrims who are being hosted by King Salman, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.
The vehicles are equipped with interactive screens in various languages to provide safe and easy transportation for pilgrims, Saudi Gazette has reported, quoting the SPA.
“The ministry works to modernise the buses on a continuous basis, and to provide well-trained and well-qualified staff to provide comfort to the programme guests,” the Gazette adds.
The buses will be used to transport pilgrims during the Hajj days and will also take them to Makkah, Jeddah and Madinah.
“There are 6,000 pilgrims are part of the programme this year,” the medium said.
