Mrs. Hilda Dokubo, Chairperson of the Rivers State chapter of the Labour Party (LP), has asserted that Senate President Godswill Akpabio is aware of the veracity of the sexual harassment allegations leveled against him by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
Dokubo, a prominent Nollywood actress, stated that Akpabio should acknowledge the truth of the allegations and apologize to Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, clarifying that his alleged remarks were misconstrued.
Speaking in an interview on Wednesday, April 2, Mrs. Dokubo claimed that every senator within the Senate chamber, particularly Akpabio, understands the truth behind Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s allegations but are unwilling to permit an investigation into the matter.
Dokubo also criticized those who have questioned Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s credibility based on her previous marital history before marrying Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan.
The veteran actress defended Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s emotional response to her alleged ordeal, stating, “who feels it, knows it.”
