Lagos, Nigeria – In a startling prediction, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has forecasted that National Security Adviser (NSA), Malam Nuhu Ribadu, is poised to become Nigeria’s next president after Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s anticipated second term in 2031.
Speaking to Daily Sun newspaper, Ayodele asserted, “After Tinubu, Nuhu Ribadu will take over.” This bold prediction comes alongside other significant political forecasts, including the claim that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors will ultimately support Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid. “The majority of these PDP governors are not going to be with their presidential candidate,” he stated.
Ayodele also weighed in on upcoming state elections, predicting an All Progressives Congress (APC) loss in Anambra State, citing Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s continued popularity. “APC will lose Anambra State because the people will still vote for (Prof Chukwuma) Soludo,” he declared.
The cleric issued warnings to key political figures, advising Senate President Godswill Akpabio to pray against a looming scandal and suggesting former Lagos State governor Akinwunmi Ambode could revive his political career with prayer. He also cautioned Vice President Kashim Shettima to tread carefully, hinting at potential challenges during Tinubu’s second term.
National security concerns were also highlighted, with Ayodele claiming “American submarines are on Nigeria’s water” and urging President Tinubu to overhaul his security apparatus, alleging compromise. “Nigeria must be on the alert because their presence is not in Nigeria’s interest,” he warned.
Ayodele further cautioned against supporting opposition figures like Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Nasir El-Rufai, Bala Mohammed, and Seyi Makinde, claiming they would exacerbate the nation’s current challenges. “Voting for any of these politicians in the next election will be more disastrous. Nigerians must never contemplate the choice of any of these politicians. Rather, they should stick with Tinubu,” he stated.
Despite current hardships, Ayodele expressed optimism about Tinubu’s second term, predicting improvements and urging Nigerians to exercise patience. “Tinubu’s second term will be better than his first term,” he said. “Nigerians should exercise patience.”
The predictions have sparked widespread discussion, with many Nigerians reacting to the seemingly bold claims about the future of the nation’s political landscape.
