Pastor Folu Adeboye, fondly known as Mummy G.O. and wife of RCCG General Overseer Enoch Adeboye, has made shocking revelations about a now-absconded Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) pastor.

During a mission visit to Cape Town, South Africa, she recounted how the local parish was holding services in a rented restaurant and faced abrupt interruptions during worship. Touched by their situation, she inquired about a lasting solution.

According to her, the parish pastor—identified as a Nigerian from Ekiti State—proposed a creative plan involving the purchase of a used bus for $8,000 to lease it out and generate income to sustain the church.

Trusting his intentions, she provided the money. However, to her dismay, the pastor allegedly fled with the entire amount, abandoned his wife in South Africa, and relocated to the United States, where he reportedly remarried and began a new life.

Pastor Folu described the betrayal as deeply painful, especially given that the pastor’s wife was left in emotional turmoil and is now said to be mentally unstable. She shared the story to highlight a growing moral decline among some church leaders, emphasizing the urgent need for discipline, integrity, and faithfulness within the church.

Her emotional message struck a chord with congregants as she urged pastors and workers to remain spiritually accountable.
