The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has cautioned domestic airlines against telling passengers that ticket refunds take up to four weeks, describing such claims as a breach of its regulations.
According to the NCAA, airlines are required to process and complete all ticket refunds within 14 days, in line with existing consumer protection rules.
The authority warned that any carrier found violating this directive would face sanctions, stressing that passengers’ rights must be fully respected and protected.
