Nasarawa gov donates N20m to state varsity

Engineer Abdullahi Alhaji Sule, Nasarawa state governor. Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, has personally donated N20 million to the state-owned Nasarawa State University, Keffi, for the establishment of a Faculty of Engineering. He made the donation on Saturday, while delivering a speech at a stakeholders meeting of the institution. The governor said, as an engineer, he felt morally bound to assist towards the establishing of the faculty.
2019 Governor Sule commended all previous administrations in the state for their great contribution toward the development of the university, stressing that the institution is today one of the best among its contemporaries. He appreciated the commitment and doggedness of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Muhammad Bala, his predecessors, the university’s Chancellor and staff as well as the management of the institution. He also thanked General T.Y Danjuma (rtd) and other spirited and patriotic Nigerians for their immense contribution towards the development of the institution. The Vice Chancellor, Prof Bala, commended the governor for the gesture, extolling his leadership qualities as well as his resolve to see to the growth and development of the institution.
