I’ve not defected to APC, Sen Aidoko rebuffed rumours of his defection

by

Sen. Atai Idoko has debunked the purported fake news of his defection to APC stating that governor Bello and his aides should learn to respect both the quick and the dead as his visit has no political coloration. “Gov. Yahaya Bello and so many others paid me condolence visit when I lost my father to identify with me and I am going round to show I do not take such for granted but I was shocked to receive a twisted news from his media handlers of my defection to APC. Losing a loved one is a dark moment for every reasonable human being alive, it is not an opportunity to sell a candidate with the reputation I have built for myself” Sen. Aidoko stated. This is a lesson that Kogites should be mindful of cameras around them especially in any occasion that has our desperate politicians present, a handshake might be captured as an endorsement to score a political goal.

The statement, described the rife rumours of his defection as mere mischief which should be thrown into the dustbin.

The statement reads: “This is to officially inform the general public that there is no iota of truth in this rumour going round town of Senator Attai Aidoko leaving the People Democratic Party, PDP, to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
