Honorable Ishaku a State Assembly Aspirant has vowed that if elected he will take as first priority the empowerment of youth and women to foster progress and development in his constituency and for the over all development of the state.
He stated this on Thursday when he hosted elders ,ward chairmen and stakeholders of the People Democratic Party at his Karshi resident ,Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
Ishaku who is canvassing election to represent Karshi/Uke State constituency emphasizes that empowering these category of persons in the society will go a long way in promoting peace and unity as well as enhancing economic growth of any community.
” I am grateful for the honour according me by my party elders and stakeholders who are here to pay me Sallah homage.This has further boost my desire and ambition to becoming their elected representative come 2027″ He said.
Honourable Mamman Yari , a former councilor said the aim of the gathering was to mark the Sallah celebration,which is more of a family reunion among the PDP in Karshi .
” So we are here at the instance of the state house of assembly aspirant.And amongst others he is more serious and people oriented” Mamman added.
Also contributing ,Chief Samuel Danjuma Dogara the Secretary PDP elders forum stated that the meeting is of great meaning in the lives of politicians and even the electorates as it proves ability of the aspirant in carrying his people along.
” Much more to what is ongoing here this afternoon is part of the Sallah celebration organized by this state Assembly member who is seeking for election to represent this constituency” He said.
Earlier, the Director General of honourable Ishaku’s campaign organisation ,honourable Riskwa Hassan Audu said the aspirant has the capacity to deliver and bridge the gap.
According to him, honourable ishaka is the best among other aspirant that can nib in the bud dividend of democracy if elected.
” And as the Campaign DG we are working hard to see that our aspirant becomes the PDP flag bearer as well as become the choice of the electorates in 2027 general election” He posited.
