EID El FITRI: Ex Minister ,Former EVC Salutes muslims,tells Nigerians to be focus

Some top notch governorship aspirants from the Nasarawa West Senatorial district have bared their minds while felicitating with Muslim Ummah in Nasarawa State ,Nigeria and the world at large .

The politicians who spoke separately on Sunday after the Eid prayers to commemorate the Sallah Celebration urged the good people of Nasarawa State to remain focus and esteem brotherliness without difference.

At Uke ,Karshi Development Council Area of Karu local government area in the state, the immediate past minister of environment ,Barrister Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi called on all citizens of the state to eschew sentiments, but demonstrate love ,care and peaceful coexistence with one another .

” My Sallah message is for the people of Nasarawa State to be focus, love another and embrace peace as the panacea for development.We must also to learn to be respecters of each others culture, understand that we are brothers keepers and create happiness for one another” He said.

When asked by journalists on what is inspiring to aspire for the position of governor come 2027, Barrister Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi averred that he has no particular reason rather than rendition of service to humanity for the betterment of the state at all levels.

According to him” There are gaps that need to filled.So I am throwing myself into the ring and God’s willing we will fill in those gaps and give our best for the development of Nasarawa State” He added.

And from Keffi Local Government Area of the state the former Executive Vice Chairman NASENI, Professor Mohammed Sani Haruna who is also in the race for the governorship position expressed happiness and congratulated all Muslim for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast,added that is a period to share with one another.

” Coincidentally incidentally,this year by divine arrangements it is not only the Muslims that have fasted, the Christians likewise have fasted,so both religion subjected themselves,devoted their time in spiritual exercise in obedience to the injunction of God.

” What is more important here is that both Muslims and Christians have learnt lessions of patience,tolerance,of giving or supporting those that are not privilege. I want to urge us all including myself to continue with this spirit irrespective of our faith because God will surely reward such act of identifying or emphatizing with those that can not afford their needs” He added.

Prof Sani Haruna used the opportunity to congratulate the executive governor of Nasarawa State for all that he is doing ,what he has achieved in the course of administering the state ,saying his welfare packages to citizens of the state is commendable .Adding that his drive to become governor of the state is not about his personal success ,but to contribute his quarter from where Engineer Sule would stop,in order to further develop the state.
