President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the the release of 30,000 tons of maize from the national reserves to animal feed producers to ease high cost of poultry production.
President Buhari revealed this on his official Twitter handle on Thursday.
He expressed concern over the challenge Nigerians are currently facing with regards to high food prices.
Buhari assured Nigerians that his government is doing everything in its power to bring down the prices of food items across the country.
