Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, has revealed that her immediate priority after the show is to focus on God and carefully reflect before deciding on her next steps in life.
Speaking during her media rounds, Imisi said she would seek guidance from experienced individuals as she plans her future.
“God is the next thing for me, then I will focus on what next to do in life. Right now, I am still taking my time to reflect on the whole scenario. After this media round, I will probably talk to a few people on the next step to take,” she stated.
Her comment comes as the top nine finalists — Dede, Imisi, Isabella, Jason Jae, Kaybobo, Kola, Koyin, Mensan, and Sultana — continue to share their experiences and aspirations following the conclusion of the reality TV show.
Dede, who finished as one of the top contenders, dismissed social media claims that she should have won instead of Imisi. “Everyone in the house is a winner. Imisi deserves to win, there is no ‘if’,” she said.
Mensan, another finalist, expressed pride in how far he had come, noting that his participation in the show had made his family proud. “I think I have made my family happy. However, we are just coming out of the house, and you don’t expect all things I have been looking for to just happen. It is still in the process,” he said.
He also shared his excitement about performing alongside Nigerian music star Adekunle Gold during the show’s grand finale, describing it as a memorable experience. “Although I have met Adekunle Gold before, meeting him like this on a very big platform is a great thing for me,” Mensan said.
Sultana, whose time in the house was marked by her confrontation with disqualified housemate Faith, reacted to the controversy surrounding the incident. “Not just Faith, there were some things that happened in the house that everyone expected. We expected disqualification or a form of punishment. For me, it was not just that it was Faith,” she said.
She also reflected on her emotional revelation about being a child bride, sharing how she turned her pain into purpose. “Life happens to anybody, regardless of what you are going through. Time wouldn’t wait for you. You can decide to sit back or decide to get up to change the narrative, and that is what I did for me and my kids,” she revealed.
Sultana said she plans to establish a school to mentor others. “I plan to build a school where I share my knowledge and plans. I am open to explore,” she added.
Jason Jae also addressed a viral statement he made during the show about fellow housemate Faith. “I don’t know what led to that; it must have been a build-up. But I am sure at that time, in my opinion, I felt he was not strong enough,” he clarified.
Meanwhile, Isabella, a mother of one, spoke emotionally about leaving her son for months to participate in the competition. “It was emotional. I had already had a conversation with him, and he knew it was good for me to go. The sacrifice was worth it,” she said.
Kola, another finalist, discussed his connection with fellow housemate Sabrina and his post-show ambitions. “We are actually besties. We came from the same background, and we do not live far from each other in Canada,” he explained.
On his future plans, Kola revealed he would continue pursuing his passion for fashion and entertainment. “I was already doing brand content creation before going into the house. I still want to be relevant in the fashion world. Nollywood is home for me, and I can’t wait to immerse myself in a lot of characters,” he said.
