Music superstar 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) has publicly acknowledged his relationship with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, following his recent divorce from wife, Annie Idibia. The announcement comes after weeks of speculation fueled by sightings of the pair together, including a recent appearance at the Edo State Assembly and a video circulating online of them at a Lagos club.
In an Instagram video posted on Tuesday, 2Baba addressed the rumors directly. Captioning the post, “To Whom It May kwansighn. #I don yarn my truth. Feel free to continue alleging. We shall all be alright,” he aimed to dispel misinformation and defend Osawaru against accusations of being a “home breaker.”
“Allegedly, I have been seeing so many things, so many people coming up with their own false narratives and malicious nonsense after I posted that stuff that I posted,” 2Baba stated in the video. “Yes, I posted what I posted.”
He emphasized that Osawaru had no involvement in his separation from Annie, describing her as “a young, brilliant, amazing woman.” “Hon. Natasha has been dragged, she has been called all sorts of names, she has been labelled as a home breaker,” he continued. “She is a young brilliant amazing woman and she had nothing to do with what is happening between me and Annie in our marriage.”
2Baba then made a candid declaration: “Yes I love her, she is amazing, she is cool, I want to marry her.” This confirmation puts an end to the swirling rumors and clarifies the nature of their relationship.
