Zulum in Ilorin, pays condolence to Governor Abdul-Razaq

 
Borno Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum was in Ilorin today, on condolence visit to Governor Abdul-Rahman Abdul-Razaq who lost his father yesterday, Saturday.
Elder statesman, AbdulGaniyu Folorunsho Abdul-Razaq (SAN), died at the age of 93.
Zulum had established close relationship with the Kwara Governor back in August 2019, when both leaders accompanied President Muhammadu Buhari to Japan for the seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development. It was the first presidential trip for both APC Governors serving their first term.
Governor Zulum, who held series of Meetings in Maiduguri from 10am to 2pm, departed Maiduguri airport in company of Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, APC State Chairman, Ali Bukar Dalori, Member of House of Reps., AbdulKadir Rahis, two Commissioners, Architect Yerima Saleh, and Dr. Babagana Mustapha, and Special Adviser on Religious Affairs, Sheikh Modu Mustapha and that of Community Relations, Alhaji Yusuf Alao.
Zulum was received at the Government House, Ilorin, by Governor Abdul-Razaq.
Sheikh Modu Mustapha led Zulum’s delegation in prayers for the repose of AbdulGaniyu Abdul-Razaq.
Zulum described the late father as a legend whose lifetime was of huge impact.
The host Governor thanked Governor Zulum for the visit and drove the visiting Governor in private vehicle to the Ilorin international airport.
Zulum departed Ilorin for Maiduguri after the visit that lasted less than an hour. He returned to Maiduguri before 8pm of same Sunday.
