Zamfara govt flags off distribution of COVID -19 palliatives to State LGS

Zamfara State government has flagged off distribution of Covid-19 palliatives to the poorest of the poor and vulnerable persons in the fourteen local government areas of the state.
The chairman of COVID-19 Taskforce who is also the speaker of the state Assembly, Nasiru Muazu who flagged off the exercise on behalf of Governor Bello Mohammed says, the gesture is meant to cushion the effects of the global pandemic on the residents.
The poor and vulnerable persons in the state had caused to smile as the state government distributed COVID-19 palliatives to them, with the aim of alleviating their hardship.
The chairman of Covid-19 Taskforce in the state, Nasiru Muazu, praises the governor for working diligently to support the taskforce with all the necessary materials and facilities to contain the global pandemic.
He charges the local government caretaker chairmen to ensure that the COVID-19 palliatives reach the beneficiaries, who are the poor and vulnerable members of the society.
Non indigenes and Christian communities in Zamfara State express gratitude to the state government for identifying with the poor and vulnerable among them during this critical time when coronavirus is ravaging the World.
The chairman of COVID-19 Task Force, Nasiru Muazu, also explains that the task force is to ensure that the persons who have just returned to the state with the COVID-19 disease do not have contact with anyone, to stem the spread of the deadly disease.
