Your Achievements Transcend Political Party Divides, ADC Deputy Gov’ship Candidate Hails Abejide

Deputy Governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dr. Idris Omede, has congratulated to member representing Yagba Federal Constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide, in his inauguration into the 10th National Assembly.

Abejide, a second term member of the House of Representatives, is the Governorship candidate of ADC.

in a statement on Tuesday, Dr. Omede stated that Abejide’s re-election into the House of Representatives is a true reflection of his popularity, acceptability, evidence-based performance and productivity.

Dr. Omede, a former National President of Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), said Abejide’s leadership style, achievements and accomplishments defies political party affiliation, and is worthy of emulation.

“On behalf of myself, my family and the members of ADC, your teeming supporters and admirers, I wish to congratulate you and members of the 10th National Assembly for this great day, 13th June, 2023. We rejoice with you, your family and your constituents in Kogi state for your achievements and enviable legislative roles in your constituency while in the just ended 9th Assembly.

“Your re-election for a second term and subsequent inauguration as member of the 10th Assembly along with a member, Hon. Salman Idris, of the Kabba Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency under the ADC, is a true reflection of your popularity, acceptability, evidenced based performance and productivity.

“You have demonstrated capacity, capability, competence and service to the people in a humble and unassuming manner,” he said.

Dr. Omede noted that as Abejide’s running mate on the ADC joint ticket in the forthcoming November 11th 2023 governorship election, he is optimistic that as a team, they are both driven with passion and zeal to serve the good people of Kogi state with one Kogi spirit through our “RESCUE MISSION,” where fairness, equity, peace, love and development reigns.

He appealed to Kogites, friends and partners of Kogi state to support and actualize the Leke Abejide/Omede Idris Governorship ticket for Kogi state.

“We request you to do this, thereby enthroning good governance through a team with leadership and administrative pedigree,” he added.
