The People’s Democratic Party’s State Executive Committee Yobe chapter under the leadership of His Excellency Amb. Umar Elgash held her first meeting after inauguration.
The meeting which took place June 19th 2021 at the Public Complaint Commission Hall In Damaturu, centered on strengthening the party across the Seventeen Local Government and plans to capture the entire State for the party in subsequent elections.
In his address, the State Chairman Amb. Umar haven thanked Almighty Allah for the success of their congress and a day like this to chart a new course for the Party to take over the state’s leadership, also urge electorates in the state and as well Nigerians to synergize and embrace the People’s Democratic Party’s movement.
He added that although some might be hurt in one way or the other in the past, but pleaded with such individuals, assuring them of equality and hence promise of setting measures to avoid such occurrence again.
The SEC said it’ll on this new course sit up to see that everybody is carried alone irrespective of ethnic, zone or religion.
The meeting was well attended while the Chairman wished all, journey mercies back to their respective destinations.
