Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has facilitated with the former Governor of the State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, on the occasion of his 71st birthday anniversary celebration.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed, on Monday in Lokoja, Gov. Bello eulogized the former governor for his generous heart, political astuteness and uncommon intellect.

Gov Bello congratulated him for his impact in both socioeconomic and political developments of Kogi state, and his unprecedented achievements in the business world.

”On behalf of the Government and the good people of Kogi State, ”I say congratulation as you add another glorious year to your fruitful age today, we celebrate you.

”On this unique day, we want to appreciate you for your immense and remarkable contributions to the growth and development of our dear State.

“I congratulate you; I thank the Almighty Allah for your life; we pray Allah will continue to uplift you even as you continue to give your elderly counsel to this generation based on your wealth of political knowledge and experience because, I do know that you do everything with a clear conscience.

”I pray for you, that as your days are, so shall your strength be”, he said.

Gov. Bello prayed that the Almighty Allah, who had kept the former governor these years till today, would continue to use him to accomplish greater things in the years ahead in sound health and peace of mind.

”We are thankful for you and pray that, as you celebrate your birthday, you will be graced with many more years filled with sound health, joy and peace of mind,” he said.
