YAHAYA BELLO AND THE DISASTER CALLED PRESIDENTIAL BID – CLEAR-CUT EXAMPLE OF HOW TYRANTS THINK

by

With posters and billboards of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State flooded around some places in the country, it is no longer news that this man who is cynically corrupt is gearing to contest for the country’s top job come 2023.

What amazes me is the level of ignorance and sheer greed of some of his hallelujah supporters who seek to rip off some naira from this fellow knowing too well that Nigerians will reject such a scam of a project from the word go.

Yahaya Bello hiding under the so-called immunity clause is yet to account for his massive corrupt, and dwindling human rights abuses in the State which ranges from Non-payment of workers salaries, lack of infrastructural projects, lack of social security, lack of viable economic policies, unaccounted inflows from FAAC, IGR, Paris Fund, and Ecological funds, to mention but a few. His misdemeanor spans across award of fictitious, and ghost projects, paying off of same such as the Ganaja Bridge/Flyover with no work done running in hundreds of millions in naira.

If not for the battered institutions in the country, how can a Yahaya Bello character seek to be Nigeria’s President when in reality, a State as small as Kogi with full economic potentials under his watch has witnessed a collapsed leadership for 6 years?

I want to reiterate that no sane human being in their right moral control will or should support such a man who has no values for humanity. A man who pride in payment of percentage salaries to civil servants who are the driving force of the nation’s economy.

The fact here is, having failed so woefully in Kogi State, Yahaya Bello is not fit to hold public office anywhere in Nigeria and even around the world.
