Workers Day: POHAN hails Workers, says they are agents of our nation’s development

 

In felicitations and solidarity to the nationwide workers Day anniversary celebrations, the umbrella body for both serving and past public office holder association of Nigeria has hailed the Nigerian workers for their strides and immense contribution to the nations growth

Revealing in a press statement released to pressmen, signed by the President of the Association Chief Deola Eseyin. Says, the annual workers day is a day set aside nationwide to acknowledge, celebrate and appreciate the undeniable contributions of our workers to our national development.

The POHAN president said workers are the bedrock and strength behind and developing nation and on day like this they ought to be encouraged and celebrated in a grand style haven consistently main productiveness and contributive strides towards national development.

While applauding the Nigeria workers on this year workers Day anniversary, Mr Deola took a slide to call on the government at every level to look into the plight of its workers and yield to their yearnings and demands in order to enjoy more efficiency from workers.

He notes that the recent approval of the new minimum wage scheme by the president was an unprecedented feat worthy of commendation but also called for the full Implementation of the signed agreement from the federal to the state government.

Mr Deola reiterates POHAN’s commitment to championship and support the cause of Nigeria workers, especially its members always and wish the Nigeria workers a fruitful anniversary.
