Governor Nyesom Wike has suspended taxes for SMEs including shop owners and hairdressers in Rivers State for the year 2020.
Also suspended are all local government taxes and levies with the exception of tenement levy.
The governor reportedly made this move in a bid to cushion the impact of COVID-19 in the state
