Wike Commends Jonathan, Denies Political Influence from Former President Wife

“I must publicly acknowledge the support the former First Lady gave me during my time as Minister. But to say they made me politically will be unfair. I had my own political journey and I worked hard to get to where I am today,” Wike explained.

He also praised Jonathan for his leadership during his tenure as President, stating that he did his best for the country.

Wike, who is now FCT minister and the former Governor of Rivers State, stated that he has been able to achieve his current position through hard work and dedication, not just through the support of the Jonathan family.
