Why Gov Yahaya Bello Must Invite NCDC Back To Kogi

The current happening in Kogi State has given more than enough reason for Governor Yahaya Bello to settle his running battle with Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, and make their officials return back to Kogi State to find the true cause of the sudden and mysterious deaths in the state.
Yahaya Bello cannot continue to tell the people of Kogi State and Nigerians that his state is COVID-19 free in the face of mysterious and unexplainable deaths the state government doesn’t want to reveal the causative factor to the public.
In less than two weeks, Kogi State has lost three illustrious sons including the state Chief Judge, Justice Nasiru Ajanah, the House of Assembly member representing Ibaji contitutency, Hon John Abah and the Personal Assistant to Yahaya Bello, Abdulateef Suleiman who all died in an undisclosed private hospital in Abuja.
The presence of COVID-19 in any state is not a death penalty for the people of the state. The Governor needs to call an end to his running battle with NCDC and allow them to come to the state, carry out samples for test and do their job to help put this looming danger to rest.
The state government shouldn’t be quick to refute every claim and genuine advice without proper investigation.
There is no trophy for state with zero case of COVID-19, the life and safety of the people of the state should be the first priority rather than the continuous boast of being COVID-19 free.
Many people in the state are not complying to the safety rules because they’ve been made to believe COVID-19 is political and doesn’t exist which has called for concern on the effect of this if the virus has actually found its way in the state as alleged.

For the safety of the people of the state, Yahaya Bello should reach out to NCDC he had earlier chased out of the state to come back to the state to find the cause of the sudden and mysterious deaths going on in the state.
