Why El-Rufai, Yahaya Bello Met Over Kogi West Election – Dino Melaye

Senator Dino Melaye has accused Governors Yahaya Bello and Nasir El-Rufai of meeting over today’s Kogi West Senatorial District Supplementary election.
In a post on his Twitter handle, the embattled lawmaker claimed the two governors were at a meeting in Lagos State which was aimed at ensuring he loses today’s rerun election.
Dino Melaye disclosed that the meeting which also had in attendance, APC Chairman, two judges, took place on Thursday.
He wrote: “Meeting in Lagos today with 2 governors, APC chairman, two judges, a woman, rep of govs of Kaduna and Kogi.
“All because of Dino. I laugh because your counsel shall not stand. I have all the details. The Lord will laugh at you all in His sour displeasure. I ask again, why do the heathen rage?”
Recall that the electoral umpire declared the Kogi West Senatorial Rerun inconclusive.

The Kogi West senatorial election was held on Saturday, November 16, 2019.
Smart Adeyemi polled a total of 80,118 votes, Dino Melaye had 59,548, leaving a margin of 20,570.
With 43,127 votes cancelled across the seven LGAs where the election held.
