Where is Kogi monthly allocation? Bailout Funds Is Loan-PDP

The Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party says no amount of lies would deter the people from voting out Gov. Yahaya Bello and the APC in the forthcoming November governorship election.
The PDP in a statement signed by Bode Ogunmola, Spokesman of the party says Kogi workers would not be deceived with the payment of salaries as is claimed by the APC led administration, pointing out that what happened to the last five months allocations the present administration has received.
According to Ogunmola, ” Kogi people are tired of government of deceit and lies. Our attention has just been drawn to fake stories that workers have been paid all their salaries. It’s on record that the state government only paid few months out of the several months salaries owed the state workers while local government workers and pensioners have not been paid a dime for almost a year now. As People’s Democratic Party we can not fold our hands and watch workers suffer for their entitlements. As we have earlier said our monitoring group will ensure full payment of the workers in the state.
” What happened to all the allocations the state has received since February. The bailout is a loan and Gov. Yahaya Bello should not glory in the bailout applied for by the past PDP administration ”
The PDP called on the people and workers to be weary of the APC led administration Greek gift as after now they would suffer most especially that monthly allocations due the state is pocket money for the APC government.
The PDP called for the release of the salaries of local government workers, pointing out that it is disheartening that the salaries of workers at that tier of government has been contracted out to a contractor.
