The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kogi state chapter said it has been vindicated by the fact that the Chairman of electoral umpire, Prof Yakubu has admitted to the fact that Security personnel were compromised in the last Kogi state Guber election that was held on 16, November 2019, to use state power to subjugate Nigerians, subvert the electoral process and imposed Bello in office for the next term the party therefore called for the declaration of Engr. Musa Wada the party’s flag bearer winner of the last governorship election held on November 16.

The PDP in a statement signed by Achadu Dickson, Director Research and Documentation, said the call for the declaration of their governorship candidate winner followed the admittance by the INEC National Chairman at a forum that security agencies compromised the Kogi governorship election.

The PDP said the whole world knew that governorship election never took place in the state owing to the violence allegedly aided security agencies.

The PDP described the violence and outright writing of result as the worst election in the nations history, urged INEC to announced the PDP as winner having gotten the courage accepting security lapses.

According to the statement, ” based on the admittance of INEC chairman, Professor Mamud that security agencies compromised the last govership election in Kogi State, kogi state PDP calls for declaration of Musa Wada as the winner or outright cancellation of the election. We urge the judiciary to be up and doing as all eyes are on them all over the world as all that transpired in the Kogi governorship is a known fact and in public domain.
