The Peoples Democratic Party Elders in Kogi state have come heavy on former governor of the state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris Ibro and his family, describing them as mere opportunistic family whose aim and agenda is to turn Kogi and the PDP to their family’s inheritance.
In a statement signed by the leader of the group,Alhaji Ibrahim Dansofo, the elders decried the inability of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris ‘Ibro’ to put his family in order, as a big problem facing the growth of the party, describing it as “a big problem to the party”.Alhaji Ibrahim idris hasn’t win any election since he left office.
The party elder reacting to the ongoing altercation between the party founder Captain Joe Agada and former Governor Alhaji Ibrahim Idris Ibro, backed Capt Joe Agada call on the party leaders to take a tough stance on the former governor, who he accused of destroying the party after collecting money from the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello before and after the 16th November 2019 gubernatorial election which Bello was declared winner.
Recall that the Kogi PDP Elders forum has earlier appealed to the national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party to expel Alhjai Ibrahim idris from the Party over the lingering crisis which is due to his anti party activities.
Elder Dansofo also call on police and other relevant security agencies to protect Capt Joe Agada and his family from the evil plots of Ibrahim Idris Ibro; who is very dangerous and has refused to forgive Engr Musa Wada even though he married hia first daughter.
A statement by the PDP elders signed by Alhaji Ibrahim Dansofo also give detailed account of how Ibrahim Idris fought his friend and successor Capt Idris Wada.
Dansofo further used the occasion to remind the party leadership on the immediate need to chase out Alhaji Ibrahim Idris Ibro and his son out of the party for the safety of the party in Kogi state.
