We Don’t Need Political Jesters, Jobbers Who Worship Their Stomach-Labour Party To Kenneth Okonkwo

The Labour Party has responded to Kenneth Okonkwo’s resignation and criticism of Peter Obi, describing him as a “political jester” and “jobber” who worships his stomach.

Okonkwo, a former spokesperson for the party’s presidential campaign, cited his disappointment with the party’s internal crisis and Obi’s failure to address it.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, stated that Okonkwo’s resignation was not surprising, given his history of switching parties.

Ifoh accused Okonkwo of being an attention-seeker and a mole planted to instigate crisis within the party.

The Labour Party reaffirmed its support for Peter Obi as its leader and presidential hopeful for the 2027 election, despite coordinated attacks from some quarters.

The party expressed confidence that with Obi, a new Nigeria is possible and that Nigerians will speak loudly in support of him in 2027.
