Comrade Usman Okai Austin of The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday congratulated Kogi state former Governor Captain Idris Wada (retd) as he clocked 71 years.
Austin Okai in a statement called Capt. Idris Wada an outstanding nationalist and one of the foremost leading lights of the state and entire country.
Okai in a statement wished Capt. Wada a happy birthday and prayed that the former Governor remains in good health all the days of his life.

“Happy birthday to our former Governor, Capt. Idris Ichalla Wada . Many happy returns of the day as you clock 71st years anniversary Sir, My wife and I wish you God’s blessings and protection today and pray that you remain in good health all the days of your life”, Austin Okai said .
OBSERVERS TIMES recall that Capt. Wada worked in the aviation sector for 35 years before he retired and went into politics, born in Dekina Local Government Area in the present Kogi State, into the family of Alhaji Halilu Wada Ijiga.
