Unable To Climb: APC National Chairman, Adamu Converts Press Centre In Secretariat To Office Over Inability To Climb Staircase

The new National Chairman of All Progressives Congress, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, has ejected journalists from the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja over his inability to climb the staircase to the third floor where his office is located.
SaharaReporters gathered that it had been a herculean task for Adamu to climb the staircase to the third floor due to ill-health.

It was learnt that it took the 75 years old chairman up to 15 minutes to climb the staircase as a result of old age.
He asked the journalists on Tuesday to vacate the centre to allow for remodelling of the secretariat.
The media centre and other offices located on the ground floor of the building would now be converted to his office.
Meanwhile journalists were compelled to seek safety under the tree outside the building.
