Two dead as Sunday Igboho’s home comes under attack second time

The Ibadan home of Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo a.k.a Sunday Igboho was reportedly attacked during the early hours of Thursday.

Igboho’s media spokesperson, Olayemi Koiki made this known in a live video via Facebook.

He said that two persons were killed in the attack, with their bodies taken away by the gunmen.

Koiki disclosed that the attackers, who were dressed in military camouflage, riddled the building and vehicles in it with bullets.

He revealed further that some occupants of the building were whisked away by the attackers, adding that Igboho was safe.

“I can confirm that those who came are definitely Nigerian soldiers. There are more than 100 soldiers that came.

“The situation is very active as more security operatives in about seven Nigerian Army patrol vans have arrived,” Koiki said.

This attack is coming some hours to a rally scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 3rd, in Lagos.

Recall that Igboho’s home had also come under attack on January 26, 2021, by some unidentified hoodlums who burnt down the house and vehicles in it.
