Tinubu rallies APC stakeholders to win back Oyo in 2027 at all cost.

President Bola Tinubu has called on leaders and stakeholders in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State to set aside their differences and work towards winning the 2027 election against the ruling Peoples Democratic Party.

Speaking at the inaugural annual lecture series in honor of former Oyo State governor Lam Adesina, Tinubu stressed the importance of the state’s participation in the upcoming election.

Tinubu praised Adesina for his commitment to democracy and good governance, highlighting the need for unity among progressive forces in the state.

The event, themed “Improving Nigeria’s Governance: Lessons From The Past, Strategies For The Future,” was attended by dignitaries including former governors, senators, and party leaders.

Tinubu emphasized the importance of upholding democratic ideals and citizen participation in governance as a way to honor Adesina’s legacy.

The late Adesina, who passed away in 2012, was remembered for his contributions to the fight against military rule and his dedication to democracy in Nigeria.
