Tinubu Administration Allocates Over N4.9 Billion to Edo Polytechnic for POS Agents Training.

ObserversTimes has uncovered exclusive details revealing that the Tinubu government has allocated a staggering N4.9 billion to the National Institute of Construction Technology and Management (NICTM) in Edo State. The funds are designated for training Point of Sale (POS) agents, providing motorcycles, and constructing market shops and street lights in several states across Nigeria.

Other projects funded outside of the polytechnic’s jurisdiction include the construction of community halls in Delta State, supply of instructional materials in Plateau State, supply of hospital equipment in selected health centers in Delta State, and supply of motorcycles in selected communities in Kano State.

It has been noted that the NICTM is focused on training manpower for economic and industrial growth in construction technology and related fields, making the allocation of funds for various infrastructural projects somewhat surprising. Nevertheless, the budget analysis reveals detailed allocations for a range of development initiatives in different regions of the country.
