There is no any Case of COVID-19 in Taraba- Governor Darius Dickson

His Excellency Governor Darius Dickson today presided over the state Executive Council meeting. The meeting took place at the state Executive Council Chambers government House Jalingo.

The commissioner for information Hon Danjuma briefing the media after the meeting said the meeting was necessary because the Governor needed to approved in earnest the implimentations of the report of the Committee on the COVID-19 who were inaugurated last week. He further said the order placed on the Ban for the inter-state movement by the Governor will be more stricked this week and advised travellers to stay at their destinations because they won’t gain entrance into the state until after the next 14 days.

He however cleared the air on the rumour making rounds that there was a suspected case of person with Coronavirus in Gashaka, he said a blood sample of the person was taken to Lagos for test and has returned Nagative hereby making Taraba a zero register of the Covid 19 pandemic.

The Governor advised citizens to please adhered to the pracautionary measures instructed by medical practitioners especially on personal hygiene such as washing of hands regularly, practicing social distancing, use if hand sanitizers etc. He admonished the citizens to stay strong and positive at this moment of world trial saying together we shall over come

In attendance at the meeting were his Excellency Enrg. Haruna Manu Deputy Governor Taraba State, Hon Anthony Jellason SSG, Rt. Hon Istiphanus Gbana Chief of Staff Government House, Mrs Suzzy Nathan Head of service and Commissioners.
