As a citizen, you must understand the differences between these four, *Inequality, Equality, Equity and Justice*.
When the Senator began the streetlight phase 1 project, it was across the four corners of Kogi central, whether you are rich, poor, old, young, Apc, PDP, Sdp, etc, it was designed in a way that everyone now benefits from it. *JUSTICE!*
When the Senator gifted 6 trailers of rice across the good people of Kogi central, every associations, every cooperations, foundations, unions, forces, wards, units were all captured and recognized, whether young or old, Apc PDP Sdp etc, whoever you were, it was disseminated in a way that virtually everyone did benefitted from it. *JUSTICE!*
When the Senator gifted thousands of school bags and writing materials to children of school age, the whole compound was filled down to the end of the street. You could hardly differentiate the poor from the rich, the fair from the dark, non of the kids present wore a tag of political recognition, she shared the bags amongst thousands of children present on that day without any form of discrimination or exemption, in such a generous way that virtually every child was captured. *JUSTICE!*
When the Senator gifted thousands of high quality wrappers, not even a single mother was discriminated that day. The Senators personal gate was opened to all even at odd hours, women and mothers came to even play games with their senators and won wonderful prizes. Young or old, rich or poor, fair or dark, Apc PDP or Sdp, everyone was gifted with cash prizes, foodstuffs and many more. *JUSTICE!*
I once saw an appreciation message from one Mr Majeed to this Senator, on a job appointment facilitated to him by the senator. According to source, the young man is neither from the Senator’s hometown, neither is he thesame religion with her, Clan or even party. All we gathered was that he is a young graduate in need and God led his favours upon him through the Senator. *JUSTICE!*
Is it the youngman who now serve in the capacity of an SSA to the Governor of another state. Or the SLA to the present Senate President, were all facilitated by this noble Senator. All she stands for is to create a world where JUSTICE prevails. Whether you are rich or poor, white or black, christian or muslim, young or old, party or anti-party, a world where every soul is serve equal Justice!
I know you all should know who I am referring to by now, Yes…, she is that obvious. So far, she has made us understand the differences between *INEQUALITY, EQUALITY, EQUITY* and *JUSTICE* in the system of leadership. That reminds me of her 2023 Recap statement which states thus, “I am a Political Reformer and not a Politician”, indeed she is set out to reform the leadership structure where everyone, irrespective of your religion, region, clan, status, party or belief, is carried along in the state and nation at large.
So far, she has stood for brilliant innovative ideas in the house, ideas that will bring great values, people and communities together. Ranging from advocating for Blue Economy, 100% local production of military kits, tasking the FG to prioritize maternal mortality, Industrializing Local Herbs and Medicines, and many more just within 8 weeks of being in office, 8 weeks and she already stood for Justice, not Equality, not equity but JUSTICE!
Let the traits and footsteps of this Distinguished Senator, serve as a guiding light to others of her kind, who wish to justify his rulings with his people, but may not understand the concept of it. Let it be known that justice is possible and can be achieved.
God bless Distinguished *Senator (Chief) Natasha H Akpoti-Uduaghan*
