The Senate Minority Leader, Senator Moro congratulates newly-elected Benue PDP EXCO, charges members to lead well

The senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade (Dr) Abba Moro has congratulated the newly-elected Benue State Executive Council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The Rt. Hon. Ezekiel Adaji-led EXCO was elected on Thursday at the state congress of the party, which held at Sese Event Centre, Makurdi.

According to a statement issued by Emmanuel Eche’Ofun John, Media Adviser to Moro, the senator urged the EXCO to work and strengthen the party and adequately prepare it for future elections.

He enjoined the new EXCO to lead right and ensure that all members are carried along in the party’s activities.

The Senate Minority Leader implored aggrieved party members to sheathe their swords and join hands with the State EXCO to put the party on its winning ways.

He applauded the National Executive Council of the party under the leadership of Amb. Illiya Damagun for the peaceful resolution of the leadership impasse in Benue PDP, while also appreciating the Senator Napoleon Bali-led caretaker committee that has been up and doing in seeing to the successful completion of all the party’s congresses and eventual emergence of the new EXCO in the state.

He assured of his total commitment to PDP and pledges his unalloyed support for the newly-elected EXCO to succeed.
