The SDP, Kogi state chapter, congratulate the Muslim umma for their successful completion of the Ramadan fast and celebration of the Ed-El-Fitr

The SDP, Kogi state chapter, wishes to congratulate the Muslim umma for their successful completion of the Ramadan fast and celebration of the Ed-El-Fitr after siting the moon of shawal.

The SDP wishes to thank the Muslim umma for standing in the gap for the world during this COVID-19 pandemic and implores them to continue praying for the end of the virus and return to normalcy once again.

It also extends its felicitation to the sultan of Sokoto for his fatherly role throughout this period and urges him to continue applying his wisdom to sustain the relative peace being enjoyed by some parts of the country.

While congratulating the good people of Kogi state, it frowned at the decision of the state government to pay 80% of salaries at a time when other states are paying full salaries with incentives, describing their actions as insensitive and callous. He described the civil servants as epitomes of perseverance that will one day get their rewards here on earth.
