The remains of the former Commissioner of youths and Sport Hon.Sule Ikani Atakele were on Friday committed to mother earth in his Inachalo home,Idah Local Government Area amid tears by sympathisers.
The late Ikani Atakele slump in his residence at Idah, around 11pm on Wednesday.
He was buried on Thursday at about 2: 30pm at his private residence at Inachalo according to Islamic rites.
Prominent individuals in the state who attended the burial include the immediate past Council Chairman of the local government, Hon.Zakito Umar,
Hon Abuh and The local government PDP Chairman and other party faithful and well wishers who were present at the burial.
Hon Zakito who speaks Unbehalf of the party after the burial,that Hon.Atakele is a gentle man to the core and that his death is not only a loss to Igalamela/Odolu Local Government alone but to the state as a whole, because he was a detribalised Kogites.
Hon.Zakito Umar urged the family to take solace in God and prayed for the repose of the soul of the former Commissioner for Youths and Sports.
May his soul rest in Peace.
