Hon. Daniel who served under this Governor Yahaya Bello’s second tenure as commissioner for Rural Development who recently resigned to run for Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency, has defected to Social Democratic Party SDP to join forces with Hon. Murtala Yakubu Ajaka and Hon. Sam Abenemi to deliver Kogi state for SDP.
The commissioner DANIEL who is symbolic to the Biblical Daniel has left the Lion’s den unharmed to joins SDP.
He made this known after several threats to his life if he defects proved abortive by the ruling party in Kogi.
Hon. Daniel Ejigbo made the news of his defection known during the Social Democratic Party ( SDP) stakeholders meeting of Biraidu District at it’s headquarters , Abocho-Dekina Local Government
According to Hon. Daniel Ejigbo ” Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka and SDP is no longer a political party but a movement for the liberation of the State. ”
The stakeholders meeting comprises of SDP Executives from Abocho , Emewe and Ogbabede ward.
The SDP Ward chairman enjoins all Kogites to make hay while the sun shines. If it is threat to life no one would have lived in Kogi state anymore. “People only become criminals in Kogi when they join another party from APC but a criminal is a saint if such a criminal is in APC and only remains in APC. He also added that Kogites are only terrorists and gunrunners only if the challenge oppressors in Kogi”.
SDP stakeholders expressed their join for catching such a big fish from the current administration.
