The growing Insecurity in the country See the photos of Bank Robbery in Osun state .

The growing rate of Insecurity in the country is gradually becoming a major source of concern for everyone. Kidnapping, banditry and armed robbery have now become the order of the day.

One of the latest of the above mentioned is the bank robbery that took place in Okuku, the capital of Odo-Otin council area of Osun state. Two residents were reportedly killed in the process.

Below are photos taken from the scene of the robbery.

What i find difficult to understand is how a bank robbery can go on for more than an hour without any strict resistance from security operatives. It was reported by several Media houses that the robbery lasted for more than 40 minutes and no police or Military was there to confront them until after the robbers left. The robbery took place around 3pm yesterday.

It was also gathered that the Osun state commissioner of police, Mr Olawale Olokode later led a team of police to the scene of the crime to dislodge the armed robbers and for possible arrest. But, how can they arrest them when they are no where to be found.

The Nigerian police and other security agencies must take their game to the next level if armed robbery must become a thing of the past.
