The Battle for the soul of the APC Delegates declare support for Prof. Saidu Mohammed Onailo Ogah

Says aspirant has wherewithal to deliver a new lease of live for Kogi people. Ahead of the forthcoming Primaries of the All Progressive Congress, delegates from Yagba Federal Constituency may have thrown their support for Professor Seidu Onailo Mohammed, insisting that he has the requisite credentials to move the state out of the woods of underdevelopment.
The delegates in a statement signed by Kunle Jones Obafemi, spokesman of the delegates, said having looked at all the aspirants, the need to allow competence, capacity and credibility drive the selection process remains apt. Professor Seidu O Mohammed is the immediate past Director General of National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) and a frontline governorship aspirant on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the November 12 governorship election in Kogi State. The delegates in the statement, said at a meeting of progressive delegates from Yagba Federal constituency held at Isanlu, having x-rayed all the governorship aspirant seeking the APC ticket, we have come to a conclusion that Kogi State Must be rescued, thus our choice of Prof. Saidu Mohammed Ogah.
” It is our candid opinion that if given the ticket, Prof. Saidu has what it takes to not only win the November governorship election, but has the wherewithal to deliver a new lease of life for Kogi people. ” Our decision to adopt Prof. Saidu Mohammed Ogah, followed his leadership qualities. His successful carrier in public service. His acceptability by the electorates “, described the aspirant as a break from the old political actors who have failed the State, has a good heart, with an unblemished track records. The delegates urged other delegates from the state to take a cue from Yagba Federal Constituency, said their decision is borne out the need to have a developed state amongst comity of develop state’s in Nigeria.
