Tension in Keffi, Nasarawa State as Bandits stormed University, Abducts 4 Off-Campus Students Of NSUK

Four off-campus students of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) have been kidnapped by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers.

The incident, according to a student leader, Senator Solomon Timmy occurred in the Angwan Kare area of Keffi on Monday night around 10:30pm.

The affected students are Rahila Hanya (SLT), Josephine Gershon (Computer Science), Rosemary Samuel (Business Administration) and Goodness Samuel of Geography Department.

Timmy added that they are all 100-level students.

The SUG Secretary-General, Comrade Riwonga Lucky Ali also confirmed the incident in a statement on Tuesday morning.

He however urged students to remain calm as efforts are in place to secure their release unhurt.

Riwonga also urged students to be on alert and report any suspicious movement for swift response.

The matter has since been reported to the security and school authority for appropriate actions.
