Tambuwal replaces Seriake Dickson as chairman of PDP Governors Forum

Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has been named chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum.

Tambuwal replaces Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, who leaves office on February 3.

It was learnt that PDP governors unanimously appointed Tambuwal as chairman at the party’s 88th National Executive Council (NEC) meeting in Abuja.

Tambuwal, in his acceptance speech, pledged to run an inclusive administration and to move the party forward.

Dickson, who was elected chair of PDP Governors Forum in May 2019, was absent at the NEC meeting.
