Supreme Court affirmed Ette as part of Igala Kingdom

ETTE Community is after Olamaboro local government Area of Kogi State formerly in Enugu State back to IGALA kingdom, Kogi State under his Royal Highness IDAKWO Michael AMEH OBONI, the ATTAH of IGALA.
This is an affirmation of the judgment of 2007 by the Supreme Court. Delineations were conducted and they clearly show that Ette is in Kogi state and wrongly administered by Enugu. Since then, the boundary commission has been playing pranks with that report.  But I do very well know that there are 28 post amalgamation demarcation instruments and they all show that Ette has steadily been in the north. None says it has ever been in the south.
The Ette Community in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State and Olamaboro Community in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State have common boundary, the community is the center of activities, particularly on its market days,where traders from the three major tribes ; Igbo, Igalla and Idoma and others from neighboring villages bring their farm produce to sell and at the same time exchange banters.
You recalled that the leadership of Ette community in Olamaboro local government area of Kogi State has rejected newspaper publications that it belongs to Igbo-Eze North local government of Enugu State.
The reaction is sequel to the destruction that greeted the Igala-speaking community after a politician, Mr. Tony Ogidi, was declared winner as candidate for Igbo-Eze North, to represent Ette community in Enugu State House of Assembly rather than Kogi State.
In a 14-page document made available from Crownfield Solicitors, the group said: “Ette community is not and has never been a community in Enugu State.
“The fielding of Tony Ogidi, who claims Ette as his origin by the Enugu State political and administrative hierarchy as candidate for Igbo-Eze North 11 constituency in Enugu State House of Assembly is not only tendentious, but also an exercise in mischief making.
“We are equally at sea where the publication got the figure of 200 as voters in the community, when it is well known that members of the community did not register in Enugu State as they voted their leaders in Kogi State during the elections.”
This ruling has vindicated Prince Michael Ameh Oboni who is being accused of plotting to dominate other minorities tribe in the state.
You recalled that the OBSERVERS TIMES previously reported that the Federal High Court in Lokoja ceded, Lokoja, Ajaokuta and Kotokarfe to great igala kingdom.
