Sultan Of Sokoto Declares July 31st Eid-el-Kabir

Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar has declared Friday the 31st of July as day to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir for Muslims.
The day, which is celebrated on the 10th day of Dhul-Hijja will be held next week Friday.
The Sultan advised district heads and Imams in Sokoto State to observe eid prayers in their Jumat mosques, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic raging the country.
He also advised muslims round the country to observe Eid prayers at their Jumu’at mosques to help limit the spread of COVID-19.
He also wished muslims in the country guidance and blessings while praying to Allah to accept the prayers and religious deeds of the celebrating muslims.
