STOP PLAYING POLITICS ON ISSUE OF SECURITY-Northern Elders Forum

– Insecurity have no party affiliation or respect for politics
– We are all guilty of our silence and poor support to government
It’s disheartening loosing many senior officers of Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC in the Cold hands of death following attack by Kidnappers on their way to a Special Course. They died in active service to their mother land.
But the nation’s security has fall and this is consuming many national intellectuals and potential leaders and yet some politicians leaving away from our places are using their wealth and connection to creat another crisis.
It’s on record that this insecurity is escalating especially this time, but instead of collective action, we rather choose to be sentimental and egocentric against our political interest not our people that have suffered.
What happens when our people continue to play politics with issues of our security, as some hired and ill motivated youths and some APC supporters converged and demonstrated in Zamfara Police hqtrs to interfere with investigations about some suspected politicians detained due to their alleged involvement with some repentant bandits.
Why must they use violent way of fighting against the constitutes authority of the land in which they siege Police Hqtrs because they are claiming to be supported by some disgruntled politicians from Abuja.
Police in Zamfara state ought to have been given time to explained more about their findings and take any actions according to rule of law to prosecute whoever is involved on this issue of meeting with repentant bandits in order to coarced them back to nefarious activities of attacks and killings.
The relative peace enjoyed around three states of Zamfara, Katsina and Sokoto are very important and commendable, especially from the part of government of Zamfara state which is the link of all other routes in the region.
Let Nigerians be informed that, nobody is above the law, and bringing back banditry activities for the hitherto peaceful areas of Zamfara is a great wickedness and shameful to those accused with such devilish plan.
There is no sacred cow on issues that affect well-being and survival of majority of Zamfarawa.and those flying the routes as travellers or for businesses.
We must commend the efforts of the present leadership of Zamfara state, over their action and stand to ensure reduction of attacks, securing lives and properties in the state.
May Allah expose all persons or group of people that support and aponsor any act of creating insecurity or financing them.
May Allah bring an end to this and may the innocent lives lost continue to rest in peace and give their family the fortitude to bear this lost.
