State Congress: Kogi PDP Urges Gambo to Respect Court Process .

The Kogi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has advised Hon. Mohammad Sani Gambo to await the outcome of his ongoing court case regarding his bid for the position of state chairman. In a statement signed by Alhaji Tijani Aruwa, the party criticized Gambo’s recent press release, which called on the National Working Committee to swear him in, as an indication of his unpreparedness for leadership responsibilities,

“Ordinarily Gambo having gone to court of law should wait for the outcome of the court decision , instead he is already asking NWC to swear him in and the court is yet to take position even though we know it’s a waste of precious time but the court of law must be allow to play its role “ Alhaji Tijani Said .

The statement emphasized that Gambo, who was decisively defeated in a fair party congress, should respect the judicial process rather than preemptively declare outcomes that have yet to be decided. The party expressed disappointment at Gambo’s media engagements, suggesting that they appear to serve hidden agendas rather than the interests of the PDP.

Furthermore, the party confirmed that its activities are proceeding smoothly, with Hon. Enemona Anyebe recently participating in a meeting in Abuja with the National Working Committee. The PDP called on Gambo and his supporters to unite and work collaboratively for the benefit of Kogi State, asserting that the party’s umbrella is large enough to accommodate all members while warning against misleading the public over fabricated issues.
