In a recent interview with Pulse Nigeria, Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has ruled out any possibility of forming an alliance with political heavyweights like Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election.
Sowore expressed his strong stance against joining forces with individuals he perceives as corrupt and fraudulent, stating, “I cannot be part of a mega fraud.” He specifically mentioned Pat Utomi’s efforts to unite the opposition as an attempt to create a “mega party” that would only serve to retain the status quo and empower political criminals.
Sowore has a history of exposing corruption among Nigerian politicians, including Atiku Abubakar and Bola Tinubu. He has consistently spoken out against their wrongdoings and has no intention of partnering with them now.
When asked about a potential alliance with Peter Obi, Sowore was clear: “Never!” He views Obi as a packaged fraud who is aligned with his “elder brothers” in the PDP, which ruled the country for 16 years and was responsible for widespread corruption.
Sowore’s revolutionary ideals and commitment to good governance remain unwavering. He is determined to fight for a better future for Nigeria, free from the corrupt influences of the political elite.
