SOUTH EAST N-KNOWLEDGE (ANIMATION): LAPTOPS, HARDDRIVES AND CERTIFICATES GIVEN TO ALL BENEFICIARIES

The Job Creation and Empowerment (N-Power) programme which was instituted by the Federal Government through the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development just had one of its trainings concluded in the Southeast.

It is the employability enhancement programme under the National Social investment programme (NSIP) of the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development that aims to imbibe the learn-work-entrepreneurship culture in Nigerian youths between the ages of 18 – 35. It focuses on improving the employability and income status of young Nigerians across the 36 states and the FCT.

The N-Creative (animation) training for Southeast was held at the Nigerian Police College, Oji River (Enugu state) and was implemented by Beu Synergy Solutions Limited.

The Honourable Minister, ably represented by Mr Kingsley Ngene Bash while speaking at the event on Tuesday 21st December 2021 reminded the beneficiaries of the main aim of the N-Power program and the efforts President Mohammadu Buhari administration has put in place so far to fight insecurity in our land. He further urged the beneficiaries to leverage on the skill they have acquired to create jobs for themselves while they lookout for employment opportunities. If it is good for them, it is good for the society and their families.

One of the beneficiaries, Eze Nkiruka Susan on behalf of the beneficiaries thanked the president for having the youths at heart and promised to effectively make use of the opportunity provided to them.

At the end of the programme, certificates were presented to the beneficiaries with starter packs including laptop and flash drives.

with N-Power, the Federal Government hopes to address the challenge of youth unemployment by providing a structure for relevant work skills acquisition and development while linking its core and outcomes to fixing inadequate public services and stimulating the large economy.
